We install high quality fire detection systems to B.S. 5839.
For domestic systems we usually install Aico detectors with 10 year battery back-up. The detectors are inter-connected, self contained and operate with or without mains power.
The system can be tested or silenced from a conveniently placed switch - also for instant location of the source of the alarm, press the locate button - this silences all the alarms except for the alarm which has been triggered.
For larger systems, battery backed-up central control is required, with call points at all final exits and changes of level. The use of Fire rated cable is mandatory. Emergency lighting is normally designed to complement the fire alarm system
