The installation of a fire detection and fire alarm system can substantially reduce the risk of death or serious injury from fire.
We can install simple mains powered smoke, heat or carbon monoxide
detectors that are proven to reduce the risk of death or injury from fire.
Fire alarms installed by PSES are designed,
certified and tested in accordance with B.S. 5839-6:2004
the code of practice for the design, installation and maintenance of
fire detection and fire alarm systems in dwellings.
All our systems are certified to comply with the
recommendations of B.S. 5839-6:2004.
Although normally powered from mains electricity, the detectors incorporate a
Lithium battery which is
recharged automatically
after a mains failure and typically has a ten year life.
The detectors are connected together to form a system, so that when a detector is triggered, all the alarms sound simultaneously.

A hush button or switch temporarily silences the alarms if required. The hush button/alarm locator is situated conveniently to assist in the rapid location of the source and silencing of the alarm.
